GUWAHATI: With the assembly elections knocking on the doors, the BJP has set its eyes on the minority seats to achieve its mission of 100+ seats this time. It has been holding one rally after another in minority-dominated areas to garner their support.
“The minority votes are a major concern for the BJP now. Without these, it would be difficult for the party to achieve its 100+ mission. Besides this, we are also focussing on these areas as there are many new parties, especially in upper Assam, which will have an impact on the vote share in the region,” a source in the saffron party said.
