Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska governors plan bipartisan Thursday meeting on river and Corps-related issues
Missouri’s governor will join the governors of Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska Thursday afternoon in Council Bluffs, to follow-up on Missouri River issues and about the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

This will be at least the fourth bipartisan meeting between Governor Mike Parson (R) and Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts (R), Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) and Kansas Governor Laura Kelly (D). While their 3 p.m. meeting will be closed, the governors will brief reporters after the event at the Council Bluffs Police Department.

Police say the arrests are in connection with the murder of 33-year-old James Shekie.
Police say investigators arrested Shekie’s roommate, 17-year-old Anna Feilen, and her brother, 31-year-old Marques Moten, for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.
Feilen was picked up in the Capital city last Thursday evening.
With the assistance of Council Bluffs Police, LPD investigators arrested Moten in the Bluffs the same evening.
They were arrested without incident.
Lincoln Police say they also have an arrest warrant for 25-year-old Deontae C. Rush for First Degree Murder.
Anyone with information as to Rush s whereabouts is asked to immediately call the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-6000, or make an anonymous report to Lincoln Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
