Actor Sabyasachi Mishra during the lockdown last year
BHUBANESWAR: A number of people who had extended help to the needy during last year’s lockdown are back in action as Covid unleashes fresh crisis. Most of them have increased their presence on social media in a bid to reach out to people in distress.
“If anyone needs help like blood, plasma, hospital bed and food, please DM me. We will try our level best to help,” tweeted Rajeeb Pattanaik, a Congress leader.
Navratan Bothra, an IT entrepreneur, has also started doing his bit. “Cooked veg food can be provided at 2-3 hours notice, for any #COVID19 affected person in Bhubaneswar or Cuttack, in case needed. Please DM me,” Bothra tweeted.
