1 killed in single-vehicle Montgomery wreck Monday morning

A person was killed Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Montgomery, police said.
Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the North East Boulevard Service Road near Eastdale Circle around 7 a.m. Monday, where they found a 2016 Kia Rio with one occupant, according to Montgomery police Sgt. Saba Coleman.
The driver sustained life-threatening injuries in the wreck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the wreck determined the Kia was going northbound on the boulevard when it left the road and ended up in a drainage ditch.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - An incident at a Montgomery FedEx facility prompted a police response Tuesday morning.

According to Capt. Saba Coleman, Stefon Moye, 18, and Brandon Todd, 24, are each charged with four counts of unlawful breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. 40-year-old man killed in Montgomery shooting

Police on Monday identified the victim as Larry Friendly. He lived in Montgomery.
Authorities responded about 7 p.m. Saturday to a report of a person shot in the 4600 block of Virginia Pines Lane. Friendly, said Capt. Saba Coleman, was pronounced dead on the scene.
No arrests have been announced in the slaying. Friendly’s killing is the city’s 63rd murder of 2020.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A 20-year-old woman has been charged after police say a man was seriously injured in a shooting.
According to Capt. Saba Coleman, Selena May has been charged with domestic-violence-first degree assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
The charges are related to an incident that took place Sunday around 9:15 p.m. in the 5700 block of Bell Road. Coleman says officers and medics were called to the home after a report that someone had been shot.
