ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s captain for all three formats Babar Azam Thursday hoped to carry forward the momentum into the fourth T20I amid similar Centurion conditions which, he said, were good enough to bring out the best from the top-order.
In a virtual talk following an empathic display of exciting cricket that saw Pakistan racing to nine-wicket win in the third T20I, Babar said he wanted his charges to carry forward the same momentum going into the fourth and final T20 today (Friday).
“The series outcome depends on the fourth T20’s result. We are looking forward to continue with the same tempo which we have shown in the third T20. Hopefully, you would see the best from Pakistan players in the final game against South Africa.”

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken had a telephone conversation on Wednesday.
During the conversation matters of mutual interest, regional security situation, including latest developments in Afghan Peace Process, and bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed.
The COAS said that Pakistan will always support âAfghan led-Afghan-ownedâ peace process based on mutual consensus of all stakeholders. The US dignitary also acknowledged Pakistanâs continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both the countries.

BARA: Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi on Tuesday said the government would solve all problems that emerged during militancy.
Government officials from various departments, including education, Communications and Works and health, briefed the deputy chairman Senate.
The local elders and the Sikh community informed the deputy chairman about their problems. They said that the infrastructure was destroyed during militancy so it should be rebuilt to facilitate the people. The elders said the government should increase the compensation amount for the homes that were destroyed during militancy.

Tehran: Iran charged on Monday that its arch-enemy Israel was of course behind an attack on its main nuclear site, the Natanz uranium enrichment plant, and vowed revenge. in due time .
The Natanz site near Tehran was hit by a power outage on Sunday that Iran labelled terrorism . No one was injured and there was no radiation release, Iran said. The latest of a string of incidents hitting Iran’s nuclear programme came days after talks resumed in Vienna to salvage the battered 2015 Iranian nuclear deal that former US president Donald Trump abandoned.
