The Priest, has finally seen the light of the day. Also starring Manju Warrier in the lead role, the murder mystery film has released today (March 11) after much delay.
Notably, the film released after several postponements owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.
The Priest was initially scheduled to release in August 2020. The team yet again delayed the release from March 2, 2021, until the government gave its green signal for night shows in the state. Interestingly, The Priest has become Mollywood s first big film (of a superstar) to release in theatres.

Cinephiles were eagerly waiting to hear an update ever since Dulquer Salmaan announced his collaboration with Diana Penty. Although the details regarding the cast and the crew are all out, the team didn’t reveal the title of the film. However, the makers of the film have finalized the title of this Malayalam film and accordingly, Dulquer Salmaan and Diana Penty starrer Malayalam film have been titled as ‘Salute’!
Dulquer Salmaan himself has announced the title through his social media handle. Not just that, the poster also confirms that he will be stepping into the shoes of a police officer for the film!

After sharing a teaser picture of his upcoming film actor Dulquer Salmaan on Monday treated is fans with his own look from Rosshan Andrrews directorial, Salute. In the first look poster, Dulquer can be seen in a police avatar, donning a uniform with a lathi in his hand, sitting on the back seat of a Royal Enfield bike.Â
