BWA Group PLC reports encouraging exploration results from Nkoteng rutile sands project in Cameroon

47 controlled interval samples in excess of 1% titanium dioxide with associated elevated zirconimu and Al2O3 BWA Group PLC (AQSE:BWAP) announced the results of a reconnaissance surface exploration pit and auger sampling programme conducted on the Nkoteng rutile sands project in Cameroon. The sampling programme comprised 15 hand excavated exploration pits and 38 auger holes for a total of 169.1 metres and 90 samples.  Three grab samples were also taken as part of the reconnaissance programme. The programme targeted the central sector of the licence and identified an area of mineralisation related to the extensive Sanaga river system and associated floodplains. Results from samples confirm the area contains anomalous titanium, zirconium and aluminium, with samples reporting up to 2.38% TiO2, 0.29% Zr and 25.6% Al2O3.

BWA Reports Positive Sampling Results from Cameroon

Vox Markets 08:40, 26th April 2021 BWA Group has released positive sampling results from its recent surface sampling programme at its 90% owned Nkoteng rutile sands project located in Central Cameroon. (See Fig 1). The positive results were gathered as part of its reconnaissance surface exploration pit and auger sampling programme and reported in accordance with JORC (2012).  Figure 1: Nkoteng License area in Cameroon  Nkoteng is located within the Yaoundé Domain of the Pan African Belt, a large nappe unit that has been thrusted southward onto the Congo Craton and is characterised by low-grade to high-grade garnet bearing metamorphosed schists, gneiss and orthogneisses (See Fig 2)

Construction work resumes on Nachtigal power plant project in Cameroon Construction work resumes on Nachtigal power plant project in Cameroon Modified date: Work has effectively resumed on the construction site of the Nachtigal power plant project on the Sanaga River, in Cameroon, according to the Minister of Water and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba, and his colleague from Labor and Social Security, Grégoire Owona. Work had been severely disrupted in recent weeks after workers deserted the site, demanding better working conditions. Their return is proof that the resolutions taken during a meeting between the project stakeholders on March 12, 2021, have been implemented.
