Anger turns nasty In two different incidents, assailants try to kill acquaintances over trivial issues Two cases of attempted murders were reported in the City, both over petty issues. A father-son duo was arrested by the Sadduguntepalya police after the father assaulted a man and the son stabbed him in a fit of rage near their house in Narayanappa Garden. The arrested are Goutham and his father Surya (21), the victim, is his friend. Surya was residing with his brother Chandru at Maduramma Colony in Taverekere. Goutham and Chandru used to be friends but had split following an argument over stolen shoes. Goutham suspected Chandru was the thief. One day, Goutham assaulted Chandru over the stolen shoes, when Surya intervened and pulled the former away. Goutham nurtured a grudge against the brothers.
