NEW DELHI: After a massive crash in 2020 due to Covid woes, Mercedes-Benz the top luxury car seller in India expects sales to bounce back strongly this year. The company is looking to sell over 10,000 cars at a growth of nearly 25% as it plans to drive in as many as 15 new cars.
Mercedes-Benz India, which saw a 43% decline in 2020 on sales of 7,893 units, said that inquiry levels for cars have “already crossed the pre-Covid numbers” and added that many models are currently stocked out as supplies remain a challenge.
MUMBAI: British luxury car brand Bentley Motors on Tuesday launched the facelift version of Bentayga SUV in the domestic market, priced at Rs 4.10 crore (ex-showroom-Delhi).
Rolled out as part of Bentley s new Beyond 100 business strategy, the SUV comes with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine and offers features such as a next-generation infotainment system with a 10.9-inch screen, super-high-resolution graphics and dramatically increased connectivity, it said in a release. Bentley is the world leader in luxury mobility and has been defining new luxury in the automotive world. The newest addition to the range, the new Bentayga, is everything Bentayga was designed to be, balancing exquisite refinement with astonishing performance.

NEW DELHI: Automaker Jeep India on Wednesday launched a locally assembled version of its premium SUV Wrangler in the country with introductory prices starting at Rs 53.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The company had started the production of the model at its Ranjangaon plant near Pune in February and is now ready for retail across the country.
