Emergency services were called to an apartment block on Hobson St at 5.51pm after the woman was found dead.

This morning police investigated the sudden death of a baby in Auckland.
Police were called to the scene in Red Hill southeast of Auckland at 10.45am on Thursday. Police are continuing to make inquiries following the death of a baby in Red Hill yesterday, a police spokesperson told the
Herald. At this stage, early indications are that the death is not suspicious and the matter will be referred to the coroner.

Staff at McDonald s Te Ngae took refuge in a safe room and called police after identifying a drive-through customer as potentially dangerous.
Restaurant owner Rob Parry said on Tuesday night a man came to the drive-through speaker and immediately aroused suspicion with the questions he was asking. He asked are you here by yourself? which clearly freaked out the person taking the order who said no, there were five or six people on site, Parry said.

LONDON London Bridge station was evacuated on Wednesday following the discovery of a suspicious” item onboard a train.
Emergency services were deployed at the scene at London Bridge, south of the River Thames, and trains were halted for hours.
British Transport Police (BTP) said the station in Southwark was closed as a precaution and trains were being diverted while officers analyzed the item.
Thameslink said that as of 1.35 p.m. the emergency services have dealt with the incident and the station will reopen shortly.
