Coroner identifies man killed in early-morning crash on I-26 exit ramp

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coronerâs office released the name of Charleston man who died in a crash early Thursday morning.
Daniel Trujillo, 31, died from the impact of the crash that happened shortly after 4 a.m. Thursday in the single-vehicle crash, Coroner Bobbi Jo OâNeal said.
It happened on the I-26 Meeting Street exit ramp.
Police spokesman Charles Francis said Charleston County dispatchers received the first call about the deadly crash at 4:07 a.m. Police cleared the I-26 exit ramp onto Meeting Street and the area of Meeting Street and Line Streets, both of which had been blocked off, shortly after 7:30 a.m.
