“The City and the Society have agreed to a 90-day cooling-off period. Following this cooling-off period, the City and Society have agreed to meet, using a neutral third party, to further discuss the future of the North Peace Cultural Centre and mutually agreed-upon outcomes. During this time period and any subsequent transitional periods, all facility user bookings and rentals will be honoured. We look forward to working together to further the arts and cultural fabric of our community.” According to a release, as a term of the cooling-off period, no further statements will be issued. The City announced on June 15th it would assume control of the North Peace Cultural Centre, ending its relationship with the North Peace Cultural Society.
