MUMBAI: Morgan Stanley has appointed new heads for its Indian investment banking unit, promoting its senior bankers Kamal Yadav and Sachin Wagle to the role of co-heads of India Investment Banking, said a person aware of the development.
Yadav and Wagle will be responsible for client coverage and management of the investment banking business in India, the person said.

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], Dec 22 (ANI): Infrastructure major Sadbhav Engineering has emerged as the lowest bidder by the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation for a Rs 779.83 project in Surat.
The project involves construction of 11.6 km elevated viaduct near Dream City and 10 stations for Surat Metro rail project.
It will be executed in 30 months by the joint venture company in which Sadbhav Engineering holds 74 per cent stake and S P Singla Constructions the balance 26 per cent. The letter of award is expected soon from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation, Sadbhav Engineering said in a statement on Tuesday.
Sadbhav Engineering rose 3.09% to Rs 60 after the company s joint venture (JV) emerged as lowest bidder for a metro rail project in Surat, Gujarat.
In a regulatory filing made before market hours today, the company said that the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) declared Sadbhav Engineering (SEL)-S.P. Singla Constructions (SPSCPL) joint venture as the lowest bidder for a Gujarat-based metro rail project.
The project involves construction of 11.6 K.M. elevated viaduct from Kadarsha Ni Nal to Dream City dead end, including ramp for depot entry near Dream City and 10 Stations (excluding E&M, architectural finishing and roofing) for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase-1. The construction period for the same is 30 months.
