Syed Saddiq gives statement to cops on claims that former Prasarana chairman violated SOP

KUALA LUMPUR: Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (pic) had his statement taken on Thursday (May 27) over his claims that former Prasarana chairman Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman had flouted Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOP). The former Youth and Sports minister had pointed out, in a tweet, that wearing a face shield without a face mask was a violation of SOP under the current movement control order. In the post, he included screenshots of two news reports, one with a photograph of Tajuddin and another with Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. He noted wearing a face shield without a face mask was a punishable offence.
