TikTok removed the account of a Palestinian news outlet Friday that shared posts about Israeli human rights violations and reactions to Arab-Israeli normalization.
The Chinese video-sharing app deleted the Quds News Network account without any notice after it shared 1,200 posts, according to Hamzah al-Shobaki, who is responsible for managing the account.
He told Anadolu Agency the account shared posts on Palestine, Israeli occupation and the normalization process and had 50,000 followers, 7 million views and 350,000 likes.
Al-Shobaki urged TikTok to reverse its decision because if it did not, the Chinese social media platform would be on the list of social media accounts that support Israel.

A popular Palestinian news platform said that it was removed from popular social media app TikTok without any notice, in a move it claimed to be connected to news content it published.
Quds News Network s (QNN) website and social media accounts frequently publish videos on Palestinian news that quickly go viral, including 1,200 videos on TikTok, before it was banned.
QNN s director Ahmad Jarrar accused TikTok of being in partnership with the occupation .

Palestinians and Arab pages on Facebook, focusing on Israeli violations against Palestinians and on the Arab normalisation deals signed with Israel, have recorded an intentional decrease of 50 percent of user-reach, according to a report by Sada Social.
Sada Social has been recording and monitoring the suspension of Palestinian content and accounts on Twitter and Facebook since September 2017.
