Hamilton County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District employees have a strong history of community involvement and charity every year to aide those in need in the Chattanooga area, including their annual food drive in support of the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
The annual food drive is organized as an internal competition among all three shifts of telecommunicators as well as the administration staff during the month of November. In spite of challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, 9-1-1 employees vowed to continue with the food drive in an effort to live up to the District motto of “We Promise to Help.”
