Central Railway celebrates International Womenâs Day
Central Railway celebrated International Womenâs Day with various activities on March 8, 2021.
Sanjeev Mittal, General Manager, Central Railway presented sewing machines to female dependent wards of employees, bicycles to Railway School, Bhusaval for imparting cycling training to female students and certificates to Women Railway Employees who had completed computer courses and Light Motor Vehicle driving courses at a function organised under the aegis of Staff Benefit Fund & Rail Parivar Dekh-Rekh Muhim at CSMT auditorium, Mumbai. The General Manager also gave away awards to deserving women employees. The women employees shared their experiences with the audience.

Sanjeev Mittal, General Manager, Central Railway inaugurated Q-series relay manufacturing facility at Central Railway Signal Workshop, Byculla. This Relay is widely used in all signal interlocking works and its availability has always been a challenge. The production volume of the relay will be enhanced in the times to come to meet the requirement of Central Railway. As this scarcely available item â Q-series Relay is manufactured only in two signal workshop i.e Gorakhpur and Podanur on Indian Railways. Therefore, the production from the Signal Workshop of Central Railway will also cater to the requirement of other Zonal Railways.

Sanjeev Mittal, GM, CR conducts inspection of Suburban Stations between CSMT â Kalyan of Mumbai Division
Sanjeev Mittal, General Manager, Central Railway conducted annual inspection of Mumbai Suburban Section between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Kalyan Stations of Mumbai Division on 28.02.2021. Principal Heads of Departments and Shalabh Goel, Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai with the team of officers from Mumbai Division were present on the occasion. All Covid Protocols & norms were strictly followed during this inspection.
Sanjeev Mittal inspected Heritage lane, Environment and Hospitality Management Stall, IRSDC stall, Electric Charging Station, Escalators, Baggage Sanitizer machine, Executive Lounge, Railway Protection Force office, CSMT yard remodeling display and also inaugurated eye catchy illuminated sign boards, Road Accidental Relief Train at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Station.
