JAMMU, Mar 14: Splendid batting by Vimarsh Kaw of 104 runs off 65 balls helped Safran CC to register a 39 runs win over RSCC in the ongoing KC KPL Veteran Cup, being played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Safran CC led by Vicky Raina won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, Safran CC made 173 runs by losing 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Vimarsh Kaw made outstanding 104 runs, while Amit Wali, Vikas Saproo and Vicky Raina contributed 13, 14 and 12 runs respectively. From bowling side, Rajinder took three wickets, while Harish and Vinod clinched one wicket each.

Two complexes to be set up at Kaimur, Buxar in Bihar
The Union Government has begun a pilot project to set up steel silos (storages) for rice as part of its efforts to prevent the cereals wastage during storage.
Though the country has such silos for wheat, it is for the first time that a project for rice silo has been commissioned. If the pilot project turns successful, then the Centre will set up silos to totally store 15.10 lakh tonnes (lt), a Food Corporation of India (FCI) statement said.
