Corona vaccination centre established at Police Lines

LAHORE:A corona vaccination centre has been established at Qila Gujjar Singh District Police Lines Hospital.
DIG Operations Lahore Sajid Kiani inaugurated the vaccination centre. He said that in the first phase, the process of vaccinating more than 9,000 police personnel over 40 years of age will be completed.
The Lahore commissioner and CCPO also visited the corona vaccination centre at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines and inspected the process of vaccination of police officers and officials and the standard of medical facilities being provided in the hospital.
The hospital MS, Dr Adnan Masood, briefed the commissioner and CCPO about the process of vaccination and other facilities. Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar directed the MS to provide best possible facilities to the police personnel visiting hospital for corona vaccination.

A complete lockdown has been implemented in the whole country except the Sindh province on Saturday. As per the NCOC decision, large markets, shopping plazas and entertainment venues will remain closed until May 16. Cloth markets, shoe markets and salon shops are facing closure.
The closing of mehndi or henna stalls means there would be no traditional celebration of chand-raat (a night before the Eidul Fitr) this time.
On the other hand, grocery stores, tandoors, milk-sellers, meat shops and fruit and vegetable shops will be open until 6pm.
For the convenience of the people, banks will also be open on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Army, Rangers, police hold flag march

LAHORE:Police carried out a flag march in different areas of the City to implement Corona SOPs. CCPO Additional IG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar along with Commissioner Capt (Retd) Muhammad Usman led the flag march. DIG Operations Sajid Kiani, CTO Lahore Syed Hammad Abid and other senior police officers also participated in the flag march. Contingents of Pakistan Army and Rangers, teams of different operational units of police including Dolphin Squad, Elite Force, traffic police and Police Response Unit were part of the flag march.
The march started from Town Hall and passed through different roads and markets of the city including Lower Mall, Sanda Road, Sham Nagar, Chuburji, Lytton Road, Qartaba Chowk, Ichra, Ferozepur Road, Nishtar Colony, Kahna, and other areas of the city.

LAHORE:Police along with district government teams and contingents of Pakistan Army and Rangers on Monday carried out a flag march in different areas of the City in the wake of present critical situation of Corona pandemic.
CCPO Additional IG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar led the flag march whereas Commissioner Lahore Capt(R) Muhammad Usman, DIG Operations Sajid Kiani, CTO Lahore Syed Hammad Abid and other senior officers of Army and Rangers participated in the flag march.
Contingents of Pakistan Army, Rangers, Dolphin Squad, Elite Force, traffic police, Police Response Unit and Ababeel Force were part of the flag march. Police March started from Capital City Police Headquarters and passed through different important roads and markets and business centres of the city including Qartaba Chowk, Chuburji, Samanabad, Moon Market, Kareem Block Market, Wahdat Road, Ichra Yateem Khana Market and ended back at CCPO office.
