Female gender shouldn't misconstrue feminism ― Ekiti First Lady

By Rotimi Ojomoyela – Ado-Ekiti The wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, has advised that female gender shouldn’t misconstrue feminism to mean fighting for women blindly. Mrs Fayemi said she would only defend and promote women who value dignity, self-respect and walk on the path of truthfulness. This was as she also ruled out the possibility of a female president for Nigeria for now, owing to the hostile political system. She however added that the country is ripe enough to be governed by a female President, because of its vast women resources at its disposal, reiterating that the operating system might impede this from being realised now.
