Kennedy urged a review of the Master Plan, and the goals stated for the town s economic health.
The association wants greater involvement with the Economic Development Committee, and see that become more of a prosperous organization, and make a difference, Kennedy said.
As more people receive COVID-19 vaccinations, Kennedy said marketing businesses and attractions will prove critical especially with digital tools such as social media. I d like to help you recruit people.who understand marketing, to help you market the town better, said Kennedy. A lot of professionals in town understand marketing, especially digital marketing.
Littleton candidates night set

LITTLETON The Rotary Club of Littleton will host a forum for candidates running for Littleton municipal offices in the May 8 municipal election.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the forum will held virtually. The forum, dubbed a Candidates Night, will take place April 20, 7 p.m.
Town ModeratorTim Goddard, Town Moderator, will moderate the event.
This year features three contests:
Two candidates for one position on the Littleton Select Board, incumbent Chuck DeCoste and Christine Nordhaus;
Three candidates for two positions on the School Committee, incumbent Justin McCarthy, Jennifer Gold and Jennifer Ann Wilson
…. Three candidates for two positions on the Board of Health, incumbents Kevin E. Baker Louise C. Nichols (incumbent), and Daniel Kane
The Planning Board s approval on Jan. 7 of a special permit hinges on approval of the host community agreement.
The plan calls for a last-mile facility, for deliveries within a 45-mile radius. The site formerly housed Digital Equipment Corp. I think we came out of it with a better design than what we came in with, said Larry Beals, the project s planning engineer.
Traffic concerns
Select Board member Matthew Nordhaus praised the pact, but said, My concern is and I ve been hearing from residents a great deal is traffic. People are extremely worried about local streets being overrun.
Traffic on Foster or Taylor streets would mainly be for delivery of packages locally, with signs posted to remind drivers to take a left turn only unless for local deliveries.
Sobering numbers
Hagberg is part of a coronavirus panel tapped by the Board of Health. She has been working to help that board and the School Committee make sense out of coronavirus data.
The state releases weekly data on rates in cities and towns, with the most recent report coming out Dec. 17, reflecting a 14-day tracking period after Thanksgiving.
In all, the town has reported 258 coronavirus cases since the formal tracking of numbers starting in mid-March.
Hagberg said 58 of those cases, or 22%, occurred during the most recent 14-day case count. The town remains in the red zone for highest risk asses
