Ia sempat mengalami masa kritis karena saturasi oksigen yang rendah di bawah normal. Sempat merasakan, harus menanti untuk mendapatkan tempat di rumah sakit karena penuh di mana-mana. Hingga harus menungggu di lorong IGD, saking penuhnya.
Adik Jane Shalimar, Karina menceritakan, Jane awalnya menjalani karantina mandiri hingga oksigennya habis menjelang akhir bulan Juni. Ia berjuang mencari rumah sakit, untuk mendapat kamar saturasi oksigen. Tiga jam di ambulans, tujuh rumah sakit didatangi dan semuanya penuh. Hingga akhirnya tiba di Rumah Sakit JMC, Buncit, Jakarta Selatan.
