USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Sooners (12-0), who earned 27 first-place votes and 792 points, return to the top for the first time since May 6, 2019.
OU added to its win total with four more last weekend at the Grand Canyon/Arizona State Tournament, including a 5-3 triumph over co-host and then-No. 13 Sun Devils. The Sooners recorded a school-record 28 hits in a 33-4 victory over New Mexico, while also tossing a perfect game versus the same Lobos in their tournament opener. OU leads NCAA Division I in all major offensive categories, including a .492 batting average, 44 home runs and 14 runs per game.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - In the final day of a 4-game set against Green Bay, the University of Evansville softball team dropped two contests on Sunday by scores of 6-5 and 6-3 in Decatur.
GAME 1
UE (4-4) recorded the opening four runs of the game. Following a scoreless three frames, the Purple Aces jumped on top in the fourth. Eryn Gould delivered a 2-RBI single to score Mea Adams and Mackenzie McFeron. Lindsay Renneisen added a sacrifice fly to bring Gould home. A single run scored in the fourth on a solo shot by Marah Wood. The Phoenix countered with a 6-run sixth inning that included a 2-RBI double by Alyssa Brewer. UE saw one run score in the seventh but could not get the tying run home with Green Bay taking a 6-5 win.

PHOENIX New Mexico jumped on top with a home run in the top of the first inning and then promptly gave up a 33-spot.
No. 2-ranked Oklahoma routed the Lobos 33-4 in Saturday’s opener at Grand Canyon University Softball Stadium, then stomped host GCU 14-0 in the nightcap.
OU responded to its early deficit with seven runs in the first inning, seven more in the second, 12 in the third and seven again in the fourth.
The Sooners OU (11-0) scored 29 in their season-opener at UTEP back on Feb. 11, but somehow were even more dominant against New Mexico, sending 18 batters to the plate batting around twice in the 12-run fourth. OU opened the big inning with seven consecutive hits.

ORLANDO, Fla. McNeese softball dropped a doubleheader at No. 22 Central Florida here Friday, 3-0 and 4-1. The two teams will conclude the series with a single game at noon Saturday.
UCF (8-2) took the opening game with a two-hit shutout from Alea White who improved to 5-0 on the year. White, who became UCF’s all-time wins leader last Sunday against New Mexico State threw a two-hit shutout with six strikeouts and one walk.
