SPRINGFIELD, MO. (WFIE) - Melanie Feliciano recorded a team-high 11 kills in Sunday’s series opener at Missouri State that saw the Bears finish with a 3-0 victory.
Feliciano finished with 11 kills and 9 digs while Alondra Vazquez was just behind with 8 kills. Chloe Bontrager added six. Vazquez and Thon tied for the UE (3-8, 2-7 MVC) lead with 10 digs while Hannah Watkins finished the game with 5 block assists. Allana McInnis added 18 assists to her career numbers. Brooklyn Cink led all players with 16 kills while Amelia Flynn notched 15 for the Bears (10-2, 6-1 MVC).

CHICAGO, IL. (WFIE) - Junior Alondra Vazquez recorded a season-high 23 kills and helped the University of Evansville volleyball team battle Loyola in five sets before the Ramblers made a huge run in the fifth game to take a 3-2 win on Sunday afternoon.
Vazquez posted 23 kills for UE (2-5, 1-4 MVC) while Chloe Bontrager and Melanie Feliciano added 10 apiece. Allana McInnis and Cecilia Thon added 26 and 16 assists, respectively, while Rachel Basinski had 21 digs. Brooke Springer had a nice game on the defensive side, earning six block assists. Loyola (5-1, 4-1 MVC) saw Anna Feldkamp and Emily Banitt post 15 kills apiece.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WFIE) - In a non-conference doubleheader hosted by Western Kentucky, the University of Evansville volleyball team rallied for a 3-2 win over Saint Louis before falling to WKU by a 3-0 final on Sunday at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Match 1 – Saint Louis
Alondra Vazquez and Melanie Feliciano recorded 20 and 17 kills, respectively, to lift the Aces (2-2, 1-1 MVC) to a 3-2 victory over Saint Louis. Allana McInnis notched 26 assists while Cecilia Thon accounted for 14 helpers and 15 digs. Laura Ruiz led the Purple Aces with 17 digs while Hannah Watkins posted a solo block and four block assists. Chloe Bontrager and Kate Tsironis also had four block assists. Saint Louis (0-2) was led by a 22-kill game from Maya Taylor.
