Member Double Dragon Neon?
Member the games you used to play? We member. The basement at the Hardcore Gamer office has a section known as the Crust Room, with an old grey couch and a big old CRT TV. All the classic systems are down there collecting dust, so in an effort to improve the cleanliness of our work space, we dust off these old consoles every so often and put an old game through its paces, just to make sure everything stays in working order. We even have a beige computer with a floppy disk drive.
Perhaps it’s because I’m old but I love a good beat ’em up. Maybe it’s because I was a kid during the NES/SNES era when arcades were filled with beat ’em ups, or maybe these were some of best co-op games from the era, at least in my experience. At any rate, there was no shortage of great beat ’em ups in the era, and Double Dragon has always pulled hard at the nostalgia strings. So naturally, after way too many years to count since the last proper Double Dragon releas
The owner of Limited Run Games, Douglas Bogart, has reported that the distributor’s limited physical edition of the recently re-released
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game for the Nintendo Switch managed to sell more than 25,000 copies in under three hours. This is only a subset of the title’s overall sales as it is also available on other platforms and through digital storefront. Limited Run Games primarily distributes, as the name would imply, a limited physical run of digitally released games.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is a side-scrolling brawler that originally released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in March of 2010. Approximately four years later, the game and its two DLC packs were delisted from both stores. The Limited Run release is notable as the first physical version of the game, and owning it in this fashion diminishes concerns over any potential de-listings that could arise from something like licensing issues. The distributor curr

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game just released on consoles earlier this week. As 2014 drew to a close, the game was delisted from Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, never to be seen again. That is until now as a remastered version appears on current-gen consoles in the twilight of their lives with both DLC packs called

With Nintendo buying the Luigi s Mansion developer, Neal ranks all of their previous releases.
Nintendo is in the process of acquiring Vancouver-based developer Next Level Games, whom they have been working with since the GameCube era. Astute fans will recognize them from their work on Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon and 3. Some others might remember their Punch-Out and Mario Strikers work. The realest will remember how they made a very good game called Metroid Prime: Federation Force that unfortunately was the first new Metroid in almost a decade.
To catch you up on the history of the studio, here’s all of their games, ranked. This is my ranking as someone who checks list has played almost all of these games.
