Kuwait s directorate general of civil aviation said early on Saturday in a tweet that it had suspended all direct commercial flights coming from India, effective April 24 and until further notice.
The move was on the instructions of health authorities after an evaluation of the global coronavirus status.
All passengers arriving from India either directly or via another country will be banned from entering unless they have spent at least 14 days out of India, the statement said.

Most Gulf stock markets ended higher on Thursday, led by a slew of corporate earnings, while Egypt was hit by a blue-chip sell-off.
Saudi Arabia s benchmark index (.TASI) closed up 0.4%, with Al Rajhi Bank (1120.SE) rising 0.8%, extending gains from the previous session when it reported first-quarter earnings.
The kingdom s biggest Islamic lender said net profit in the three months ended March 31 rose to 3.34 billion riyals ($891 million). It made a net profit of 2.38 billion riyals in the same period a year earlier.
Elsewhere, Saudi Telecom (7010.SE), which reported a larger net profit for the first-quarter, finished 1% higher.

Major Gulf markets were subdued in early trading on Wednesday, mirroring Asian stocks, due to weak oil prices as concerns over a resurgence in coronavirus cases in some countries cast doubt on the strength of global growth and demand for crude oil.
India, the world s third-largest oil user, on Wednesday reported another record increase in the daily death toll from COVID-19, at 2,023, and another record rise in cases at more than 295,000. read more
