Relief for e-commerce firms as Maharashtra extends Covid-19 test deadline for workers SECTIONS Last Updated: Apr 10, 2021, 05:07 PM IST Share Synopsis Any person who has conducted an RT-PCR test before April 10 and has a receipt for it will be allowed to work until April 15 even if the report hasn t been received Agencies The Maharashtra government extended the deadline for workers to procure negative Covid-19 test certificates by five days to April 15, giving relief to e-commerce companies because a large portion of their workforce had not received reports after getting tested. Any person who has conducted a reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test before April 10 and has a receipt for it will be allowed to work until April 15 even if the report hasn’t been received, the Maharashtra government said in an order dated April 9 to all collectors and municipal commissioners in the state.
