Australian Belt and Road Deal Expected to Be Ripped up in Weeks
Beijing’s Belt and Road deal with the Australian state government of Victoria looks set to be torn up in weeks as the deadline for the states’ to inform the federal government of all foreign agreements draws nearer.
Speaking to the Herald Sun, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said he saw no benefit to Victoria’s deal with Beijing and signalled that the agreement would be unlikely to stand under the bill.
“If there are benefits, what are they and what was paid for them? I don’t have the answers to those questions at this point, but the assessment of those arrangements will continue,” Morrison said.

After three rounds of the 2021 AFL Women’s season, the Brisbane Lions, Collingwood, Fremantle and Melbourne are undefeated.
Down at the other end of the ladder, Richmond, the West Coast Eagles, Gold Coast Suns and Geelong Cats are still yet to get off the mark.
The Eagles’ bid to break their duck does not get any easier when they make a second straight trip east to face the Giants in Sydney, while the Crows will try to bring down the top-of-the-table Lions in the Sunshine Capital.

There are always reports during the pre-season in the AFL about a certain player who is ready for a breakout or playing a revamped role.

Buy: Wayne Milera
This guy has always promised the world, but injuries have slowed him down. He has the ball skills, power, endurance and class to be a very handy AFL player, but we haven’t seen it. With a midfield role this year, it’s Wayne’s world.

Melbourne vs North Melbourne
I’ve watched most AFLW matches since the competition started, and the Melbourne versus North Melbourne clash was almost certainly the best display of skill the competition had yet put on.
A lot of the credit here has to go to the coaches.
Traditionally in the AFLW (or the AFL, for that matter) when a coach finds him or herself on the receiving end of a shellacking, as North did in the second quarter, they put extra players behind the play, curl up into a defensive ball and try to make the game as ugly as possible.
SEE: Serena Williams’ Australian Open outfit – 2021 look inspired by Flo-Jo
Yesterday, February 7
th, Serena Williams took to the court to play against Laura Siegemund. The 39-year-old won her match, 6-1 6-1 in front a small crowd at Rod Laver Arena.
Last week, Serena withdrew from the Tarra Valley Classic semi-final due to a shoulder problem. However, her play was back on track yesterday.
Her sister Venus also played and won her match, as they both bid to win the Australian Open.
The play of both Venus sisters might have proved successful, but Serena Williams’ Australian Open outfit undeniably stole the show.
