An early look at the 2021 Philadelphia Union II roster
While they are no longer in the USL Championship, there will still be a team competing in 2021

While news about the Philadelphia Union has been slow and eerily quiet, news and information related to the second team has been all but non-existent since the team played a series of postseason friendlies in the fall.
Just three signed players are currently on the Union II roster after offseason roster moves were announced: Shanyder Borgelin, Selmir Miscic and Ben Ofeimu. USL rosters were required to have a minimum of 12 players under professional contracts not counting first team players on loan.

You read a lot of claptrap about humble beginnings, but the pure truth of the matter is that The Sundog Organ Trio had its genesis in a trip to the town dump. Mattapoisett musician Colin Bradley had always had a hankering for an organ, especially one of those big Hammond B-3s. One day a friend called him with a hot tip, that he’d just seen such an instrument at the town dump.
“I didn’t live too far away, so I went right over there,” said Bradley last week. “It was absolutely beautiful, and in good condition, a 1958 Hammond just what I’d always wanted. I loaded it into the back of my Volkswagen, with the back door hanging open, and brought it home. Then I brought it to a guy who specializes in repairing those, and we got it into playing shape. That was six years ago.”

Paxten Aaronson is officially a member of the Philadelphia Union now with his first team contract kicking in on the first day of the year along with Jack McGlynn, Nathan Harriel, Brandan Craig and Quinn Sullivan.
The 17-year-old from Medford, N.J. joins the same day his older brother, Brenden Aaronson, officially joins Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.
Paxten recently discussed his preparation for his first season on the first team in an interview on the Keeping It Simple podcast and mentioned that he had a training stint in Germany with Werder Bremen in October.
