THE Royal Welsh Agricultural Society has helped brighten up Builth Wells this Christmas with a donation towards the town’s Christmas lights campaign. Despite the challenges facing the society this year due to major events like the Royal Welsh Show and Winter Fair being cancelled and forced online, as well as the wider events sector, RWAS chief executive Steve Hughson presented the mayor of Builth, Gwyn Davies, with a donation of £350 towards the cost of the Builth Wells Town Christmas lights. The Royal Welsh has supported the Christmas lights for a number of years and they usually compliment the annual Winter Fair, which was sadly cancelled earlier this month due to the pandemic.
