Bid for bungalow in Bromsgrove Street, Halesowen, thrown out by planners

A BID to build a bungalow in the garden of a Halesowen home has been turned down by planners who said it would be cramped . An application for the two-bedroom detached bungalow to the rear of 27, Bromsgrove Street, has been refused by Dudley Council. Planners said: The development would impact adversely on the amenities of no. 27 Bromsgrove Street and the future occupiers of the proposed dwelling in terms of outlook and privacy. They also said the bungalow would be overbearing for properties in Glendale Close, which is at the rear of Bromsgrove Street. They said it would be contrived and cramped and out of character with its immediate surroundings.
