There have been 517,895 COVID-19 cases in the suburbs as of Tuesday. That s 42.7% of the state s total, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. There have been 8,654 deaths in the suburbs, which is about 41.3% of all COVID-19 deaths in Illinois.
Cook County• As of Tuesday, suburban Cook County had 234,363 cases and 4,572 deaths, according to the state. In Chicago: 249,783 cases and 4,959 deaths.

Across the world, females of all ages are suffering from endometriosis, a medical condition that affects the reproductive organs. While women ages 25-40 are some of the most affected by endometriosis, it s also not out of the ordinary for teenagers to develop this disease.
Endometriosis often causes women to have pain in their lower abdomen or belly where the uterus is located. Pain can occur before beginning a menstrual cycle or during a cycle. While symptoms vary, it s important that adolescents pay close attention to their body and its varying functions. Teenagers who have endometriosis typically complain of having painful periods. If your teen is experiencing period-related discomfort, you can begin to evaluate their symptoms by asking the following questions:

The Carol Stream Park District s Armstrong Park North Parking Lot project has been selected for funding through the FY2021 DuPage County Water Quality Improvement Program Grant. The maximum funding amount is 25 percent of the related projects costs. The DuPage County Stormwater Management Planning Committee approved funding for the Armstrong Park project is no more than $40,395 for qualified costs, which equates to a 25 percent reimbursement.
