HEALTH OFFICIALS STILL RECOMMEND MASKS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT BEEN VACCINATED, AS WELL AS EVERYONE ON PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND IN MOST HEALTH CARE SETTINGS. This comes as health officials are loosening COVID-19 safety measures.
On Thursday, the Centers for Disease Control said fully vaccinated Americans can discard masks and the need for social distancing outdoors and in most indoor settings.
Gov. Mike DeWine said Ohio will lift the state mask mandate and all remaining coronavirus health orders except those for nursing homes and assisted living facilities on June 2.
In a statement, the company said at this time the Kroger Family of Companies continues to require everyone to wear masks. We appreciate Governor DeWine’s thoughtful approach to distancing and mask restrictions that acknowledge businesses need for continued flexibility to implement safety protocols, read the statement.
Gov. Cooper lifts all capacity & physical distancing rules for NC as well as most mask requirements

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper announced on Friday that the state is lifting all mandatory capacity, gathering limits and physical distancing requirements, effective immediately.
Most mandatory mask mandates will also be lifted. We can take this step today because the science shows our focus on getting people vaccinated is working, Cooper said. But to keep moving forward - and to make sure that we keep saving lives - more people need to get vaccinated.
In most settings, indoors or outdoors, the state will no longer require North Carolinians to wear a mask or be physically distant.
