Support worker stole £6000 from vulnerable victims

A support worker, who stole £6000 from three vulnerable people in her care, has been ordered to pay it all back, a court heard.
Simon Connolly, prosecuting at Norwich Crown Court, said Tanya Warden, 48, stole cash from three victims, who all had severe learning difficulties and were residents at The Shieling residential home in Marham.
Mr Connolly said the thefts were discovered after investigations into cash withdrawals on the account of one of the victims.
Police were contacted and it was discovered Warden had made cash withdrawals from the accounts of two other victims, who she was a support worker for.
Chunk Elphick-Wilson found with cash and cannabis in Wymondham

A man stopped in Wymondham during lockdown was found to have 3.5g of cannabis and £1,800, a court heard.
Ian James, prosecuting at Norwich Crown Court, said that police searched Chunk Elphick-Wilson after they could smell cannabis as he sat in a Ford Fiesta car in Central Hall car park on April 30 this year, during lockdown.
When they carried out a search, Elphick-Wilson admitted he had two bags of cannabis and police also found the large amount of cash.
When his phone was seized, they found messages on it which showed he had been involved in the supply of cannabis.
Stewart Norris jailed 10 months after admitting voyeurism
A man set up secret cameras, including one in a bathroom, to film people without their knowledge.
Stewart Norris, 52, was caught out when a victim noticed a camera , Norwich Crown Court heard.
Norris had also downloaded more than 200 indecent images of children, police discovered.
Norris, of Upper Olland Street, Bungay, admitted two counts of voyeurism and downloading indecent child images.
Gavin Cowe, for Norris, said: He does not seek to excuse, justify or explain his behaviour. He is someone who is sincerely remorseful.
Jailing him for 10 months and placing him on the sex offenders register for 10 years, Judge Katharine Moore told him that there was evidence that this was not just momentary behaviour by Norris.
He said that when arrested Bardhi tried to claim he had won the cash on football bets.
Bardhi, who had the help of an Albanian interpreter in court, admitted being concerned in the production of cannabis, concealing criminal property and being in possession of a false ID document on November 21, 2018.
The court hear at the time of his arrest he had been on bail for production of cannabis in the Wolverhampton area, for which he was later jailed for nine months.
Sentencing him to 33 months in jail, Judge Katharine Moore said he was in a middle manager role: You acted under direction of others.
