The family of Katherine Leadbetter and Matthew Field say they are forever heartbroken by the death of the couple and their unborn boy.
The couple was killed while walking their dog on Australia Day at Alexandra Hills, east of Brisbane, by an allegedly stolen car.

An autopsy is being undertaken on Thursday on Katherine Leadbetter to help police determine if a teenager will face more charges over the death of her unborn child following a hit-and-run at Alexandra Hills, near Brisbane on Australia Day.

Family members of Katherine Leadbetter and Matthew Field have paid tribute at a candlelight vigil to the beautiful representation of the local community as they honour the couple who was hit and killed by a car in Alexandra Hills, east of Brisbane.
More than 50 people, including friends, family and local police, gathered about 6:00pm yesterday near the intersection of Vienna and Finucane roads, where the fatal crash happened.
