Mansfield Shooting Suspect Arrested, Charged With Aggravated Assault W Deadly Weapon Suspect Involved In Rose Park Shooting Arrested From the Mansfield Police Department: “When a critical incident occurs in our great city, we can always count on our community to come together, step up, and assist us in any way possible. Over the weekend, we received numerous tips and each one is carefully researched and vetted. Early this morning with the help of several valid leads, Detectives were able to identify the suspect in the shooting that occurred in the 300 block of Walnut Creek (Katherine Rose Park) on Saturday night. Within a couple of hours right before lunch, Officers along with our Fugitive Task Force arrested Gregory Holmes III without incident.
