Instead, it has thrived as people look for a sense of community. By Isabelle Lee February4, 2021 Experts expected the pandemic to potentially deal a death blow to co-living, amid social distancing and fears of proximity to others. But as the pandemic stretched on, growing demand for a sense of community to battle loneliness has spurred a surge in co-living. The industry is now poised to expand exponentially. When Caroline Lee moved to San Francisco in September 2019, she was surprised by how difficult the “grind to find a rental property” was. The 27-year-old marketing executive ended up moving into a co-living building a set of rooms with shared common spaces like a kitchen and lounge. Then the pandemic hit.

2020/12/21 18:31 VIRGINIA WATER, England (AP) Lee Westwood was voted as the European Tour’s golfer of the year for 2020 on Monday, winning the award for the fourth time in his career after ending the season as the Race to Dubai champion at the age of 47. Westwood started the 27th year of his professional career by winning the Abu Dhabi Championship to become the first active golfer to win a title across four separate decades. He ended 2020 by being crowned the tour’s No. 1 player for the third time and 20 years after he first won what was formerly known as the Order of Merit title.
