Some of the many gifts collected by Caithness FM in its Toy Appeal this year.
Caithness FM s annual Toy Appeal will this year help give a gift to more than 300 disadvantaged children across the county.
Gifts are collected from around the area and are delivered to the social work department at the Highland Council offices in Wick, where they are organised for delivery.

It was a big year for comics journalism at NPR.
During the coronavirus crisis, our team has created and published original comics to offer COVID-19 advice and information and to tell stories about people whose lives have been affected by the pandemic.
One of the most popular was a printable zine targeted to children with tips on how to explain it all to them. It was translated into many languages, from Chinese to Spanish to Arabic.
Other topics ranged from how older people are coping to the best way to wear a mask (demonstrated by cats, because, well, the internet loves cats).
A man who pulled a sleigh 26 miles raising thousands of pounds for two Blackburn charities has paid tribute to his friend who died on the morning of the challenge. Bill Hodgson, director of Praetorian Security and Imtiaz Ali of ‘We Love Blackburn’, said they dedicated the Santa s Slog Fundraiser to Dave Purcell who passed away on the day. Bill received the devastating news on the morning of the Santa’s Slog Challenge but decided to carry on by pulling the sleigh, complete with Santa, from Fleetwood to Kirkham. Almost £60,000 was raised with two Blackburn Charities - Child Action Northwest and Secret Santa - each receiving £5,000.
