There s not a lot of things the Mercedes-AMG G63 can t do, but with an unlimited budget, it could theoretically be turned into a Maybach luxury vehicle. This is such a good idea that we don t understand why it s not in production already. 24 photos
At first glance, Maybach is doing nothing more than asking obscene amounts of money for a Mercedes S-Class. But that s not what s going on. The brand is deeply aspirational and responsible for some seriously insane machines, ranging from $2 million limos to a one-off roadster that measured something like 19 feet.
Jeep should be thanking Land Rover for releasing the new Defender. If the Brits hadn't done it, the Wrangler would have never gotten so much attention over the past year.

On those premises, Mercedes-Benz has been making a pixelated “folded paper” car since the 1970s, but modern design features have transformed the venerable G-Class over the years into a slightly more rounded brick on wheels.
Sure, the current generation of the G-Wagen still looks like an oversized cupboard, but you can probably blame pedestrian protection regulations for the way its latest front ends looks.
This is where Lumma Design comes in, whose CLR G700 wide body kit for the Gelandewagen is now complemented by an extensive range of new parts, including a set of alloy wheels that look like they came straight out of the original Tron movie.

When Mercedes-Benz introduced the second generation of the iconic G-Class back in 2018, the iconic military look of the vehicle was obviously maintained. Still, the styling received all sorts of subtle tweaks to mark the arrival of the modern platform. Well, it seems that aftermarket developer Marius Designhaus has come up with a widebody kit that aims to build on both said aspects of the G Wagon s personality. 12 photos
The Romanian specialist, which made its debut with a Lamborghini Urus package back in September, has taken things further for this kit, from the widebody approach to adding a set of custom wheels of its own design - the MD2 name of the new development has been chosen to suggest this succession.
