New York rapper 50 Cent is now living in Houston.
Born Curtis Jackson, the rapper and creator of the Power television show abruptly announced Tuesday that he was leaving the concrete jungle for H-Town.

Discovery+ Orders True-Crime Anthology ‘Confessions of a Crime Queen’ From 50 Cent
Each season of Lionsgate-produced series will focus on “one larger-than-life woman” who led a criminal empire

Discovery+ has ordered the true-crime anthology series “Confessions of a Crime Queen” from Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Lionsgate Television, a spokesperson for the streaming service told TheWrap Monday.
The show is described as “a first-of-its-kind anthology series that brings to life riveting, headline-making stories by combining documentary and scripted genres.”
The plan is for each season of “Confessions of a Crime Queen” to focus on the true story of “one larger-than-life woman who created and led a multi-million-dollar criminal empire before a dramatic fall from power” and for the actresses’ portraying the subjects to interview the real-life crime lords.

According to Deadline, the first-of-its-kind anthology series will unpack thrilling documentary and scripted genres and will focus on the rise and fall of a female crime lord who built a multi-million dollar criminal empire. 50 Centis about to add another project to his extensive resume this one based on the life of
Cyntoia Brown. The project based on Brown’s book will be titled “The Case of Cyntoia Brown.”
Brown was arrested when she was 16 years old and was found guilty of first-degree murder, felony murder and aggravated robbery for the death of
Johnny Michael Allen. She was sentenced to life in prison, but served 15 years.

Starz, 50 Cent prep Cyntoia Brown drama
Lionsgate-owned US cablenet Starz is developing a limited drama series executive produced by Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson that was inspired by the true story of a teenage girl given a life sentence for killing a man.

The Case of Cyntoia Brown focuses on Cyntoia Long-Brown, who was sex-trafficked by a boyfriend, tried as an adult at 16 years old and sentenced to life in prison for aggravated robbery and first-degree murder before serving 15 years.
It is based on Brown-Long’s book Free Cyntoia: My Search for Redemption in the American Prison System. Brown-Long and her husband Jamie Long will also consult on the project.
