Remember Redhill Games, founded by former Remedy CEO Matias Myllyrinne back in November 2018? Well, we re about to check out the first game developed by the Finnish studio, the 3v3v3 tactical first-person shooter Nine to Five.
A beta test is taking place on Steam this weekend starting today at 7 PM CET (1 PM EST) until Monday, February 15th, at 9 AM CET (3 AM EST). It s also open to everyone, so you ll be able to get in just by pressing the request access button on the Steam page of Nine to Five.

Feb. 10, 2021 – Redhill Games has announced the free open beta weekend for the team-based first-person shooter
Nine to Five will run from February 11-14 on Steam. Kicking off tomorrow at 1pm ET/10am PT, the first public beta weekend will pit three teams of three against each other over three invigorating rounds with evolving objectives.

Head of Minecraft Helen Chiang is the latest keynote speaker to join GI Live: Online this April.
She joins Velan Studios (Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit) boss Guha Bala and IO Interactive (Hitman 3) CEO Hakan Abrak at the indie development event, which takes place April 14th - 16th.
Meanwhile, even more investors and companies have signed up to hold meetings with indie developers, including Twitch, Triple Dragon, Makers Fund, London Venture Partners, Kwalee, Galaxy Interactive and Fundamentally Games.
They join Bandai Namco, Behaviour Interactive, Devolver Digital, Digital Extremes, EA Originals, Gearbox Publishing, Humble Bundle, Kickstarter, LEGO Ventures, Makers Fund, Microsoft ID@Xbox, SEGA, Sony PlayStation, Team17 and Ubisoft.
Kowloon Nights backs indies with funding deals for 23 titles
Game investment fund Kowloon Nights has agreed to finance 23 titles from a range of indie studios.
The spate of funding deals has seen Kowloon back projects from notable studios including Oxenfree developer Night School Studios, Spiritfarer creator Thunder Lotus,
OlliOlli developer Roll7.
Kowloon said it wants to help creators chart their own destiny, and as such has taken a developer-first approach to funding by letting its partners retain ownership of their IP and sequel rights, implement a flexible payment schedule, maintain full creative control over their projects, and earn revenue from day one.
Kowloon Nights Is Funding 23 Games, Including Sea of Stars & Projects from Spiritfarer, Afterparty Devs
Kowloon Nights, a video game fund dedicated to supporting independent developers all over the world, has announced that it has formed new partnerships with various developers, with 23 new titles currently in the works. Kowloon Nights offers many benefits to studios that it chooses to fund, including full creative control and full ownership of IP. Additionally, developers receive revenue share from the first dollar, with no 100% recoupment period.
Of these 23 new titles, there are definitely some from indie studios that have made a big name for themselves in the past year or so. One such developer is Kaizen Game Works, which released the excellent murder mystery title,
