KOHLER, Wis., May 12, 2021 /PRNewswire/ June 1 marks the beginning of the Atlantic hurricane season, which serves as an important reminder to prepare for hurricanes and other severe weather events. Prevention is the key to keeping you and your family safe while mitigating costly damage to your home.
The new KOHLER residential generator installs as close as 18 inches to a home for a more discreet placement of backup power.
Those who live along the Gulf Coast and Atlantic Seaboard understand that hurricanes can pack a powerful punch. They can also leave power outages in their wake. Are you prepared to live without electricity for days or even weeks?
KOHLER - Kohler Company is working on its second major expansion in the last eight years.
A 155,000-square-foot project is currently underway at the company s existing North American generator manufacturing facility in the town of Mosel, according to a news release. The new space will house a customer experience center, more warehouse space and increased production and testing space.
The expansion will help meet the growing demand for integrated power systems and large industrial diesel generators greater than 2,000 kilowatts. Kohler Co. is the only manufacturer creating these types of generators at a single facility, the news release said.
In the new space, assembly, testing and enclosing of large generator sets will be safer and more efficient, the release said.
