US LNG exports hold steady from April 22 – April 28 Apr 30, 2021 5:03:pm Summary by: Daniel Graeber Posted in: US LNG exports hold steady from April 22 – April 28 US federal data released April 29 show exports of LNG have remained stable over the past couple of weeks, with shipments totalling some 73bn ft 3. The US Energy Information Administration in its weekly natural gas report recorded 20 LNG carriers left export terminals between April 22 and April 28. Seven of those left from the Sabine Pass terminal and four left from the Cameron facility, both in Louisiana. From Texas, three cargoes departed from Corpus Christi and four left from Freeport. From Maryland, two vessels left from Cove Point, while nothing was distributed from the LNG export facility on Elba Island off the coast of Georgia.

The trout stocking program is finishing up an intensive stocking program this week, warm summer-like temperatures beckon all to the outdoors, and the trophy striped bass season begins in portions of the Chesapeake Bay May 1.  Starting Saturday, the Chesapeake Bay from Brewerton Channel to the Virginia state line, excluding all bays, sounds, tributaries, creeks and rivers, except Tangier Sound and Pocomoke Sound, opens up to striped bass fishing for fish 35 inches or larger, with a one fish per person per day creel limit.

May Natural Gas Slips, but No Loosening in Balances Could Open Door to Higher Prices Production, LNG demand retreat Cold weather lifts Northeast cash prices After a meaningful step higher over the past week or so, natural gas futures steadied a bit on Tuesday and traded in a tight range. Small deviations in supply and demand ultimately sent the May Nymex contract down 2.2 cents to settle at $2.727, while the June contract slipped 1.5 cents to $2.803. Spot gas prices were higher on Tuesday, with gains finally catching on across the East amid the colder outlook for the week. NGI’s Spot Gas National Avg. climbed 6.0 cents to $2.650.
