All Modi ministers are comedians, says Rajasthan Congress chief- The New Indian Express

Express News Service JAIPUR: Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasara has hit out at the Modi government and claimed that “all Union ministers are comedians.”  Dotasara s comments came after Union Minister Ramdas Athawale claimed that former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot would soon bring down the Rajasthan government led by CM Ashok Gehlot. The PCC chief said, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale says something and other central ministers say something else. Only Modi is running the central government a government of arrogance and lies. Athawale, in his statement, claimed that Sachin Pilot is now getting the support of a large number of MLAs which will soon ensure the downfall of the Ashok Gehlot government. Dotasara remarked, “There is no point in talking about what Athawale or any other Union Minister says. They are all comedians.”

All schools will remain closed in the state, while teachers will have to attend schools daily and continue the online classes to avoid any disruption to studies. The teachers will also have to engage themselves in implementing project SMILE or Social Media Interface for Learning Engagement that was launched on April 14 in the state. Through this project, online learning materials would be sent to teachers through WhatsApp groups.

Congress won a lead in 14 of 50 municipalities across 12 districts where voting was held. The BJP has won in four. But the Congress has claimed it can form a board in 41 municipalities with help from independents. The Congress has won 619 of the 1,775 wards in 12 districts with Independents placing second after winning 595 wards. The BJP had to settle for third spot after it won 549 wards. Independents have performed well in the elections to urban municipal bodies or Nagar Palikas and Nagar Parishads, virtually emerging as kingmakers. In 32 municipal councils, the support of independents will decide who forms the council.
