COVINGTON COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - A south Alabama sheriffâs office is offering a sweet Valentineâs Day deal to some, although their ex partners may feel like theyâve been hit in the back by Cupidâs arrow.

COVINGTON COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - A volunteer trash cleanup scheduled Saturday morning for three communities in District 5 of Covington County has expanded to new parts of that district.
Volunteers in the Rocky Valley and Providence communities are joining those in the Old Hopewell, New Hopewell and Shady Oak areas for that event, according to District 5 supervisor Arthur Keys.
The cleanup is targeting trash and other debris that has accumulated along many county roads.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A man wanted on drug trafficking charges is being sought by Covington County officials.
According to CrimeStoppers, Fredrick Laquan Everett is wanted by the 22nd Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force and the Covington County Sheriff’s Office for two counts of drug trafficking.
Everett is 135 pounds and about 5′10″, according to a release. He is known to go by the nicknames of Frog and BoingBoing and resides in McKenzie, Opp, and Andalusia’s areas, the release added.
