The bulk of the money would come from the Community Development Block Grant, which goes toward housing needs in the community. If approved, the city would receive $300,000. Of that, $152,000 would go toward down payment assistance, $30,000 toward minor home repair, $37,500 toward infrastructure to support housing such as sidewalks and $20,000 to demolish one dangerous building.
