Malone, 37, of Belleville, was charged Monday, July 12, with aggravated driving under the influence while license revoked and driving while license revoked, both Class 4 felonies. The case was presented by the Alton Police Department. According to court documents, on July 9 Malone allegedly was found to be driving a 2008 Ford Explorer on Broadway and Main streets in Alton while under the influence of alcohol. It was noted that his driver’s license had been revoked due to an out-of-state conviction for DUI. He has a 2004 Sangamon County conviction for driving while license revoked.
