Stephenville Rotary makes donation to city for Collins Street Trailhead

Moumin Quazi, two-time president of the Stephenville Rotary Club, made a presentation to the Stephenville City Council at its regular meeting on Tuesday about its last few years’ donations totaling $9,000 to the city, for the Collins Street Trailhead of the Bosque River Trail.
Following is the speech Quazi presented:
Dear Mayor and Councilors: For some historical context, in the fall of 2018 the City began creating a master plan for an inclusive space the brought together our Bosque River Trail, beautiful live oaks, and one of the most scenic parts of the City to create an escape. The preliminary plan created an environment for all, from pollinator and sensory gardens to a play scape fully inclusive to people of all abilities. KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) The city of Kalamazoo has issued a boil water advisory as of Saturday morning for neighboring areas around Dewey Avenue.
The advisory comes as the city is currently in the process of repairing the water system on Dewey Avenue. The precautionary advisory was declared by the Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department for all water intended for drinking and any other consumptive uses.
The affected areas include:
Portage Street â From Stockbridge Avenue (southern boundary) to Collins Street (northern boundary), both sides of the street. Does not include the southeast corner of Washington Avenue and Portage Street. Also on Portage from Collins Street (southern boundary) to Lake Street (northern boundary), east side of the street only.
A burglar forced open an emergency door and walked around a quarantine hotel for eight minutes as staff allegedly played on their phones.
Police are investigating the break in at the Intercontinental Hotel on Collins Street in Melbourne that occurred about 4.10pm on Sunday.
This latest breach follows claims there was a litany of failures in Victoria s quarantine system under former general manager Matiu Bush.
