Projecting The Blackhawks 2021-22 Lineup Post-Trade Deadline

Now that we’ve seen the sun rise and set on the NHL Trade Deadline, the Chicago Blackhawks have a different feel to them as they head down the final stretch of the 2021 season. There’s still a lot of hockey left to play, but the Blackhawks are in a spot to look to the future, it’s what they did at the deadline. Forwards:  Dominik Kubalík – Jonathan Toews – Philipp Kurashev Brandon Hagel – Pius Suter – Dylan Strome Brett Connolly – David Kämpf  – Ryan Carpenter Alex Nylander, Henrik Borgström We still don’t know for sure what is going to happen with the health of Jonathan Toews. I’d like to be optimistic on the topic, so I figure he will be a go for the 2021-22 season with Chicago. The emergence of players like Brandon Hagel, Philipp Kurashev, and Pius Suter will make it hard for the Blackhawks in their decision-making come free agency. Also, Henrik Borgström likely gets signed in the offseason and the Blackhawks have plans for him to be in the NHL

Hunting the Predators, Renewed Rivalry Coming to a Close, Looking Ahead to 2021-22, and Other Blackhawks Bullets

Hunting the Predators, Renewed Rivalry Coming to a Close, Looking Ahead to 2021-22, and Other Blackhawks Bullets Last night was not a good night for the Chicago Blackhawks and they didn’t even play a game. The Central Division playoff race is the focus for Chicago in the here and now, but they aren’t getting much help from the other teams in the Division. The Nashville Predators re-gained their four-point lead over the Blackhawks with a staggering 7-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Dallas Stars closed the gap between them and Chicago by getting to overtime against the Florida Panthers. Chicago is in fifth-place in the Division, four points behind Nashville and now just three points clear of the Stars, with the Blackhawks having played two more games than Dallas at this point.

If you are interested in Detroit, that was the I’m going to take a look at either one or two other NHL teams each week. My goal is to get some input from people who cover the team because let’s face it, I don’t have the knowledge of each NHL team to be able to give you the best idea of what to expect. Keep in mind that there’s a lot that could happen between now and July, when the lists are finalized. So let’s dive into Chicago and Colorado!

Blackhawks Jeremy Colliton vaccinated; Alex Nylander unlikely to play this season

AP Photos Blackhawks coach Jeremy Colliton and a number of other Hawks staff members have been vaccinated against COVID-19, Colliton said Tuesday. No Hawks players have been vaccinated yet, but the organization will encourage them to do so when they’re eligible and the timing is right with the team’s game and practice schedule. “I think it would be good,” Colliton said. “But we’ve to do it at the right time, too, with regard to the schedule and making sure that it comes at time that, hopefully, it’s not going to affect their ability to play. “The more people that can get vaccinated, the quicker we can hopefully get back to living the life we want to live.”
