Andy Friend will have an extra coach next season
Connacht have announced their backroom coaching team for next season, but have yet to appoint a new forwards coach.
Peter Wilkins will move to a new role of senior coach where he will have primary responsibility for attack.
He will be supported by Mossy Lawler who has been appointed assistant attack and skills coach, in addition to Colm Tucker who is defence and forwards technical skills coach.
A recruitment process to replace outgoing forwards coach Jimmy Duffy is underway.
It means the numbers on the professional coaching team, headed by Andy Friend, will move from four to five.

Connacht Rugby have today announced their new coaching team for next season, with Australian Andy Friend at the helm for a fourth year. Limerick duo Mossy Lawler and Colm Tucker will make the step up from the academy and talent ID roles respectively.

IRFU Statement On U20 Six Nations & Coaching Appointments
Following the announcement that the 2021 Under-20 Six Nations is to be postponed, the IRFU will continue to work with tournament organisers on confirming a fixture schedule as soon as is practicable. The IRFU is committed to the safety of its players, all participating teams and everyone in our community.

THE IRFU HAVE confirmed the appointment of ex-Ulster and Ireland scrum-half Kieran Campbell as the new Ireland U20s head coach.
Former Munster back row Denis Leamy has also come on board as the new defence coach, with Colm Tucker in the forwards coach role.
Ulster academy manager Campbell succeeds Noel McNamara as head coach, with McNamara now putting his full focus into his own full-time role as Leinster academy boss.
